Most base-builders just throw units at a map, but Kiss of War: Dead Blood gives you hands-on command of each troop’s position with its free control system. Shifting marching routes and garrisoning lets you experiment, especially during messy multiplayer battles when timing a counter really matters. If you’re impatient, the wait times for training and upgrades will test you, and the anime-inspired officers aren’t for everyone. Still, if guiding every move on the battlefield sounds more fun than watching timers, you’ll want to take the Commander’s seat.
